In a previous post, I said that I would be making mother/son coordinated Christmas outfits for my som and me. I will be using Simplicity 4762 View D for his vest and makjng a 27 or 28 inch circle skirt for myself.
So, in this post, I am gathering the tutorials and other helpful information for making these outfits.
FYI, here is a tip for the circle skirt: Finish all but the hem and then hang for 3 days to a week. Parts of the skirt hang on the bias. Anything hanging on a bias will have a tendency to stretch. After a few days, the hem will be really wonky. Then use the marking tutorial and recut the hem. Then it will be an appropriate time to hem.
