I have a theory! Somebody was running low on fabric or trying to figure out how to use up scraps. They had a lightbulb moment and voila! The color block technique is born! I think that some gorgeous things can be created using this technique. It makes more work though. Below is my favorite tutorial on creating color blocked garments.
