I modified the Baked Seasoned Fries recipe from SkinnyTaste to better suit my two year old's pallet. I am not sure he would have liked the others, and I wasn't going to buy seasonings that I really wouldn't need outside of that recipe. Check out the recipe that I used below.
INGREDIENTS
Two potatoes
Cooking spray
Olive oil
Salt to taste
Wash the potatoes and cut them into quarter inch French fries.
Soak them for thirty minutes in cold water. (This entire step is optional, and sugar water is said to make you fries crisper, but I haven't tried this because I don't need the extra sugar in my life.)
Coat the fries with olive oil.
Place them in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. You can turn them once if you like.
Sprinkle with salt, let cool, and enjoy.
They are around 100 calories a serving and a serving is half a baking potato.
Feel free to check out my serving suggestion! (A.K.A. How we ate them. :-)
