Learn to Read a Crochet Pattern

Here is where you really get to see my scatterbrain and ADD!  I came across this video for making a crochet giraffe.  It also teaches you to read a crochet pattern.  I truly feel that once you can read a pattern, you can create limitlessly.  Follow a couple of patterns and you will learn to create them!

Ok. So I may have exaggerated a bit!  I don't know if that is true, but it definitely is motivating!  ;-)

Anyhow, I will eventually be attempting this after my son's pirate costumes for Halloween.  If I finish in time, I may make him some mittens if I can find a pattern that I like in his size.
